Minister Gashi visited the Municipality of Hani i Elezit and Kaçanik, signed two memorandums of cooperation

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Gashi, visited today the Municipality of Hani i Elezit and the Municipality of Kaçanik.

During the visit to the Municipality of Hani i Elezit, two memo-randums of cooperation were signed, that of the Renovation of the Stadium and that of the Construc-tion of the Cultural Center.

According to the MOU, MCYS and the Municipality will invest financially by 50,000 euros, which will be carried out during 2019. According to the Memorandum on Cultural Center Building, the Ministry will support the project financially with the financial value 250 thousand euros, which will be carried out during 2019 and 2020, while the Municipality for this project will invest 10 thousand Euros, which will be carried out during 2019.

On this occasion, Minis-ter Kujtim Gashi and Mayor Rufki Suma expressed their satisfaction with the signing of these memo-randa.

Minister Gashi said it was a special pleasure to meet with the maor Suma. On signing the two memorandums of cooperation with the Municipality of Hani i Elezit, he said: "These agree-ments are aimed at investments of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports in the municipality of Hani i Elezit, as a commitment of the Ministry to invest in the entire territory of Republic of Kosovo. In this context, we are extremely interested in helping small municipalities that have a small budget to help both young people and the artistic community benefit from these investments. "

The Minister also spoke about the mattresses donated by the Ministry for wrestling sports clubs. He said donating equipment or mattresses for wrestling sports is done in order to create better conditions for all athletes to have space and equipment to organize their exercises.

"I believe that we are doing a good job in supporting the municipalities and all the requests that come to the Ministry of Cul-ture, Youth and Sports," said Minister Gashi.

While Chairman Suma thanked the Minister for his visit and also for the signing of agreements for realization of projects that are in the interest of the municipality. Likewise, Mayor Suma thanked the Minister and the Ministry for the donation of mattresses for the development of competitions in the sport of wrestling.

Also during this visit, thankful and grateful for the support of Minister Gashi was Sylejman Shala from the Federation of Wrestling.

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Gashi, also visited the Municipal-ity of Kaçanik. During this visit, the minister was received by the mayor Besim Ilazi, where he then jointly inspected the works at the City Sports Hall.

During the inspections of the works, the minister said that this gym is an investment of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. "The purpose of this visit is to closely examine the works but at the same time to ask the economic operator from the company that is implementing the works in this project to intensify the works so that this sports gym, this giant object that invests the MCYS, to be ready in the beginning of 2019 ".

"This cooperation between the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and the Municipality of Kaçanik will continue and we are jointly here to confirm the cooperation but also at the same time to request that this project be concluded in the long term fast, "said Minister Gashi.

On the other hand, Ilazi said: "We were pleased to have a visit to the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The purpose of this visit was to inspect the works at the Sports Hall, a project that started quite early but which has not been completed. "

Works at this hall were considered by the mayor as a forgotten pro-ject and thanked the minister for the visit and for his care, saying that the visit and the care of the min-ister have influenced the increase of the work dynamics.
