Lipjan will have a youth center

Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, has signed today a Memorandum of Cooperation with the municipality of Lipjan, for the construction of the Youth Centre in Lipjan, where MCYS will invest 250 thousand Euros, a project in which the municipality of Lipjan will participate with 137 thousand Euros.

Minister Kujtim Shala and the mayor Imri Ahmeti, highly praised this joint project between MCYS and the municipality of Lipjan, as through which Lipjan will have a youth center, which creates conditions and facilities for the overall development of youth and will be put in benefit of their activities.

On this occasion, Minister Shala said that this modern youth center, will be an opportunity for the youth of Lipjan and as such will create modern conditions that the youth can carry out its activities normally.

Minister Shala also said that MCYS is working closely with the municipalities of Kosovo in order to improve the infrastructure to assist youth activities, as well as creating contemporary opportunities for their further development.

Mayor of Lipjan Imri Ahmeti thanked Minister Shala for the continued support and cooperation, especially in joint projects, which aim the improvement of the infrastructure in areas of interest to youth, culture and sport.

He also said that the youth center as a modern facility in Lipjan, will become a venue where the youth of the city will find a dignified environment to carry out their activities.
