Deputy Prime Minister Shala hosted the Chief of Greek Office, Athanassiadou

Deputy Prime Minister Kujtim Shala, at the same time the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, hosted today in a meeting the Chief of Greek Liaison Office in Prishtina, the ambassador Konstantina Athanassiadou, with whom Mr. Shala discussed about the developments in Kosovo and about the fields covered by MCYS and for continuation of the cooperation between the two countries.

Deputy Prime Minister Shala congratulated the ambassador for establishment of the new Greek government. He stressed that he remains committed to advance relations between the two countries, also thanking the Greek state for the support for regional and European initiatives of Kosovo. Shala also discussed about possibilities for cooperation in the field of culture and heritage, sharing experiences in joint activities and projects thanks to the construction of proper policies and more direct communication between the two countries.

Whereas the Greek Ambassador Konstantina Athanassiadou said that her country supports the European path that Kosovo has chosen and is for continuation of cooperation and building the trust and good and sustainable relations with Kosovo. Ambassador also expressed the readiness to support concrete projects interrelated with the culture and heritage and provided its direct contribution to support the fields covered by MCYS.
