Kosovo and Albania, cooperation in the youth field

Deputy Prime Minister Kujtim Shala, at the same time Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports hosted in a meeting the Minister of Social Welfare and Youth of the Republic of Albania, Erion Veliaj, with whom he discussed about enhancement of cooperation in the field of youth through the exchange of experience and to develop a joint calendar in the youth field.

Deputy Prime Minister Shala estimated the up to date cooperation between Kosovo and Albania in all fields, with particular emphasis on the field of youth. He mentioned the cooperation in the field of Culture where together with the Minister Mirela Kumbaro - Furxhi they signed the joint calendar of cultural activities which will be organized by Kosovo and Albania during 2015.

Shala informed the Minister Veliaj for support given by MCYS in the field of youth, through the provision of grants and other forms of direct support and for the structural organization of youth in Kosovo.

Deputy Prime Minister also expressed that he is ready to enhance this shared experience further on by collaborating in concrete activities and projects and he fully agrees to further increase cooperation in the field of youth.

On the other hand, Minister Veliaj appreciates the cooperation in the field of culture, especially the calendar of joint activities and stressed that it is important and of interest that such one is drafted also in the field of youth, by pointing out the exchange of experiences, with the purpose of education and youth employment.

Both ministers agreed in principle to increase further cooperation in the field of youth and for the creation of two working groups on drafting of a joint calendar in the field of youth.
