Deputy Prime-minister Shala met Ambassadors Viets and Brieger

Today, Deputy Prime-Minister Kujtim Shala welcomed in separate meetings Ambassador of Germany in Kosovo, Angelika Viets and Ambassador of Austria, Johann Brieger, with whom amongst others he discussed about cooperation between Kosovo and Germany, respectively Austria.

Kujtim Shala, meanwhile Minister of Culture Youth and Sports, thanked German Ambassador Viets, and through her, the German Government and people for the continuous support provided to Kosovo in every sphere, especially, the fields covered by MCYS.

Minister Shala emphasized that Germany is one of the states that is partner and friend with Kosovo and mentioned the support provided by German Embassy to concrete projects in each segment of our country but also in fields o culture, heritage and sports. Moreover, the Minister estimated the participation of Kosovo in the Film Festival “Berlinale”, where our country for the first time shall be a competitor “Burrneshat”, a co-production of our country with Italy.

furthermore, Minister Shala re-emphasized the fact that he shall remain committed to work to broaden the cooperation between two countries and the support of Germany shall raise in future.

In her turn, Ambassador Viets, congratulated Deputy Prime-minister Shala for his new assignment. She wished progress and success to the Minister in the future. Mr.Viets expressed that Germany shall continue to support Kosovo in future, too. She highlighted that the support of Embassy in concrete projects shall continue further, especially in the sphere of youth and sports.

Whereas, Deputy Prime-Minister Shala, in the meeting with Ambassador of Austria, Brieger, said that Kosovo and Austria have very good relationships and estimated the contribution of Austria for the assistance and support provided to our country. Mr. Shala, also expressed his readiness to increase further the cooperation between two countries in future on concrete projects as well as on exchange of experiences between the two countries.

Whereas, Ambassador of Austria in Kosovo, Johann Brieger, congratulated Deputy Prime-minister Shala for his new assignment and estimated his commitment for objectives that are planned to be fulfilled and expressed his attitude that Austria is ready to continue with the cooperation and support for Kosovo, but also in corresponding fields covered by MCYS.
