MCYS allocates 50 thousand Euros for Kosovo Handball Federation

Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) allocated 50 thousand Euros to Kosovo Handball Federation (KHF) intends to financially support towards covering expenses of participation character for the Representative of Kosovo in Handball in matches it is going to have for the qualifying matches for the European Championship of Handball.

For allocation of 50 thousand Euros, today a Memorandum was signed between MCYS and KHF, which foresees obligations of each party and the purposes for what these funds will be used where covering of expenses is included for qualification competitions of the Senior Representative of Kosovo in both competitions, for male and female, for qualification competitions of the Representative team of Kosovo for U21 age groups in male competition, and participation of delegation of KHF in the 12th Congress organized by European Handball Federation which is going to be held in Dublin, Ireland.

Minister Memli Krasniqi stressed that MCYS shall remain dedicated to supporting KHF now when the sport of handball has entered the full internationalization path that as a country we can be represented with dignity and to achieve positive results.

On his part, the head Saraçini thanked MCYS for this support, stating that this testifies that the state is treating sports with a particular importance. He said that high level preparations are taking place to have as good representation as possible.

Permanent Secretary, Veton Firzi, signed on behalf of MCYS, whereas on behalf of KHF it was signed by the head of Federation, Eugen Saraçini.
