Gold medal for Kosovo

Champion Distria Krasniqi (-48kg) won the gold medal at the European Judo Championship.

The final was very easy for Krasniqi because Ukrainian Daria Bilodid withdrew from the competition. To reach the final, Distria won three matches.

Many congratulations to Distrina and coach Driton Kuka. This result means a lot to the sports community and the Republic of Kosovo. This success speaks to Krasniqi's very good preparation for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Judo Nora Gjakova will soon compete in the -57kg category. Nora will fight for bronze medals. We wish Nora and the whole team a lot of success.
