In the course of the meetings in the framework of the visit in Great Britain, Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Rexhep Hoti, accompanied by Heroina Telaku, advisor at the Kosovo Embassy in London, had a meeting at the British Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Hoti met with Catherine Barnes, Head of Desk for Kosovo, Albania and Macedonia, and Fiona Henry, Officer at the Kosovo Desk.

The meeting discussed the current cooperation between Kosovo and Great Britain in the field of diplomacy, dialogue and cultural diversity and deepening of this cooperation through realization of concrete projects and cultural exchange as was the case with the Kosovo Philharmonic Choir tournament in Great Britain. It was estimated that even after the referendum for the exit from the UK of Great Britain is needed even more to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

Among other things, it was also discussed about the support and lobbying for Kosovo's membership in UNESCO, where Great Britain plays a key role in this regard. The emphasis was on regional cooperation among young people, such as RYCO's example and Kosovo's participation at the London Summit, to be held in July, where young people will be discussed.

Hoti requested from British MPJ representatives to make facilitate even more visa process for Kosovo artists and for joint financing of artistic projects that perform artists from Kosovo performing in front of British citizens.

"Increasing cooperation between young people, professionals and those dealing with culture and heritage, in exchanging experiences and experts in this area, is more than necessary", said the Deputy Minister, among other things.
