Re-announcement: Awards in the field of Heritage
Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, in accordance with Regulation No.09 / 2016 on Handing Out the Awards in the field of cultural heritage, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports announces:
COMPETITION
For awards handed out by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports in the field of cultural heritage. Interested parties are invited to propose candidates for the Award on Life’s Work in the field of cultural heritage "Dea Dardanicae", Special Merit Award "Shtjefën Gjeqovi" Annual Award on Scientific Work "Zef Mirdita" and the Annual Award on Institutional Management "Muhamed Shukriu ".
Annual Award on Life’s Work in the Field of Cultural Heritage "Dea Dardanicae"
This award is given to outstanding personalities, distinguished professionals, who with their continued commitment have had direct impact on the advancement of cultural heritage and encouraged achievements in the protection, preservation and promotion of cultural heritage in Kosovo.
Laureates of this prize may be professionals, scholars and researchers in the field of cultural heritage, citizens of the Republic of Kosovo and citizens of other countries.
Special Merits Annual Award "Shtjefën Gjeqovi"
This award is given to outstanding personalities in the field of cultural heritage, for their commitment, contribution and achievements during the year to fulfill the constitutional and legal obligation to protect, preserve and promote the cultural heritage in Kosovo.
Laureates of this prize may be professionals, scholars and researchers in the field of cultural heritage, citizens of the Republic of Kosovo and citizens of other countries.
Annual Award on Scientific Work "Zef Mirdita"
This award is given to authors for their scientific work in the field of cultural heritage.
Laureates of the prize may be professionals, scholars and researchers in the field of cultural heritage, citizens of the Republic of Kosovo and citizens of other countries.
Annual Award on Institutional Management "Muhamed Shukriu"
This award is given to leaders of institutions and employees of public and private institutions that have had a mandate in the protection, preservation and promotion of cultural heritage.
Laureates of the prize can be the leaders and employees of public institutions and private institutions of the national cultural heritage of Kosovo.
The evaluation for handing out the awards is made by the professional jury.
Competition for the Awards in the field of cultural heritage can be done through the proposal by:
Academy of Sciences and Arts of Kosovo (first three awards);
Cultural heritage institutions;
Scientific institutes, archives, museums;
Faculties and public and private universities of the Republic of Kosovo;
Associations and organizations dealing with cultural heritage;
Natural and legal persons.
The proposal must contain: the nominee documentation which includes: justification in writing, biography, recommendations and other references and relevant personal documentation.
The proposal must be signed by an official who has the right to propose.
