Minister Shala: Significant investments in Peja

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Shala, in the wake of visits to different municipalities of Kosovo, which aimed inspection of capital investment by MCYS, visited the Municipality of Peja, where together with the Mayor Gazmend Muhaxheri, has inspected closely the work being done at the Youth Centre in Peja, a MCYS investment, in the amount of 250 thousand Euros, as well as investments in the fields of tennis in this city.

Minister Shala expressed his satisfaction with the dynamics of works at the Youth Center, which, according to the dynamics plan, are expected to be completed this year.

Minister Shala said that this center is one of the significant investments in the youth field, which for the youth of this city creates sport areas and better conditions to carry out activities.

Mayor of Peja, Gazmend Muhaxheri, said that cooperation with MCYS has had a great influence. The Municipality of Peja has benefited in capital investments, which have helped to improve the cultural, sports and youth life in this city.

Also, Shala and Muhaxheri, closely inspected the ongoing works at four fields of tennis, an investment of MCYS.

Minister Shala and the Mayor Muhaxheri, said that the investments in the fields of tennis, according to modern standards, is a very important contribution to the further development of this sport.
