Shala congratulates Kelmendi and wishes her further success
Minister Kujtim Shala has congratulated the judoka Majlinda Kelmendi for her extraordinary beginning in the OG "Rio 2016", for winning by Ippon against Swiss judoka Evelyne Tschopp.
Majlinda is a bright page for the sports of Kosovo and a proof of the sports success in our country. I wish her further success and hope she wins the gold medal in these Olympic Games, said Minister Shala.
Majlinda’s victory over Swiss judoka shows our athlete’s qualities, and with her fight in Rio not only she represents herself but also makes us feel proud to be represented even better as a state.
Minister Shala said that MCYS will continue to support the sport of judo and sports in general in Kosovo enabling the growth of its quality and competitive representation in the international sports arena.
