FIFA membership concludes the process of Kosovo sport internationalization

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Shala, congratulated the Football Federation of Kosovo for Kosovo's membership in FIFA, and congratulated the football players of our country and all who have contributed to this success.

Minister Shala said that Kosovo's membership in FIFA is a major event which crowns aspirations and sacrifice of many generations.

On this occasion, Minister Shala expressed his gratitude to the heads of the Football Federation of Kosovo for the hard work they have done for years that Kosovo’s football can mark this historic success, with its full internationalization.

Shala in his congratulatory speech further said that after accepting Kosovo in UEFA, today’s accession to FIFA is proof that Kosovo is improving more and more on an international level.

He further stated that the admission of Kosovo to FIFA is a great opportunity for football in Kosovo, and a powerful incentive for the further development of this sport, since our country has loads of qualitative football players who can represent Kosovo and its values in the international arena.

According to Minister Shala, membership in FIFA concludes sports internationalization process and now on we should concentrate on work for accession to international organizations of culture.
