Minister Shala congratulated KFF for the hard work and historic success

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Shala, organized today in his cabinet a welcome meeting for the heads of KFF, President Fadil Vokrri and the Executive Board of the KFF, where he congratulated them for the accession of KFF in UEFA.

The meeting was also attended by the deputy head of the German Football Federation, Rainer Milkoreit.

On this occasion, Minister Shala congratulated KFF executives for the hard work and success that has marked the history of the Kosovo’s football with UEFA membership, an act which crowned the dreams of many generations who have sacrificed so much for the sport of football in Kosovo.

Shala further expressed his commitment and readiness of MCYS and the Government of Kosovo to help football in Kosovo, particularly with investments in sports infrastructure.

Further, Shala wished luck to KFF also in the FIFA's congress, which will conclude the process of Kosovo's accession to major sports federations worldwide.

The president of KFF, Fadil Vokrri thanked Minister Shala for the support and commitment that he has been giving to help KFF in this important process for Kosovo.

He further said that Kosovo's admission in UEFA was the dream of the new generations, and thanked all those who contributed in this regard, especially the minister for the continued incitement given to this process.

Present in the meeting was also the deputy chairman of the Football Federation of Germany, Rainer Millkoreit, who said that Kosovo's accession to UEFA constitutes success for KFF, for the state of Kosovo and especially for the youth of Kosovo. He further expressed his commitment and the German Football Federation to continue cooperation with the KFF in view of advancing football in Kosovo.
