Shala: Kosovo’s football in the modern football family

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Shala, upon admission of the Football Federation of Kosovo in the UEFA, congratulates Kosovo football players and all those who contributed to this historic success of our country.

On this occasion, Minister Shala said that Kosovo's admission in the great house of European football is a major event for football and in particular and for the sport of Kosovo in general. It is also a sign and significant evidence of the success of our state.

On this occasion, Minister Shala congratulated the heads of the Football Federation of Kosovo for the hard work they have done as Kosovo’s football marks a historic success.

He said that Kosovo's admission to UEFA is a historic and extraordinary act of Kosovo, and a powerful incentive for the further development of this sport, since Kosovo has lots of accomplished individuals, who can represent Kosovo and its values in the international arena.

On this occasion, Minister Shala congratulated Kosovo's footballers especially, who will defend the colors of our country.

This is an exceptional opportunity for the presentation and recognition of Kosovo's values around the world, added Shala and said that Kosovo has excellent talented people who can contribute to the values of the European football.

These days Minister Shala is staying on an official visit in Budapest, where he has held meetings with senior officials of the state, and has closely followed the developments concerning Kosovo’s accession to UEFA.

He has consistently supported the heads of KFF, to whom he has promised further support in creating better conditions for carrying out competitions in Kosovo.
