Kosovo and Turkey strengthen cooperation through "2016, Year of Kosovo"

Within the launch of the program of the Turkish Government, "2016, the year of Kosovo", which will take place today at noon, Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Rexhep Hoti, hosted a delegation of the Office of the Prime Minister of Turkey for the Turks Out of State and Kinship Communities, YTB, led by the president Kudret Bülbül.

Deputy Minister Hoti praised the willingness of the Government of the Turkish Republic to invest in the sector of culture and other areas involved in the program.

He expressed the readiness of the Government of Kosovo to cooperate on cultural projects and other areas covered by the MCYS, which are foreseen in the investment program of the Turkish Government.

The Deputy Minister said that the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Turkey have many common developmental strategies and that cooperation will be further strengthened.

Meanwhile, Bülbül, president for the Turks abroad and kinship communities thanked the Deputy Minister for the hospitality and cooperation.

He briefly presented some of the main points of the program and the opportunities to build bridges of cooperation between the Government of Turkey and the Government of Kosovo through concrete projects and initiatives.

Bülbül regarded as age-long relations between the two countries, Turkey and Kosovo and stressed that interstate cooperation should be strengthened even more.

He said that Kosovo and Turkey have exchanged lots of common values over the years as in art, culture, education, and other fields.

Whereas, through this year’s program for Kosovo, president Bülbül stressed that it will also help Kosovo in the international representation through various projects
