Deputy Minister Hoti met with the President of the Serbian List, Mr. Slavko Simic

Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Rexhep Hoti welcomed today the President of the Serbian List, Mr. Slavko Simic, with whom he talked about the cooperation between MCYS and municipalities in general, with particular emphasis on those in the north.

Hoti and Simic discussed areas of legislation, functioning of cooperation within the Republic for all municipalities in the country, in the field of culture, heritage, youth and sport.

At the meeting, was talked about the expansion of activities in the municipalities of Zubin Potok, Leposaviq and Zvecan, through concrete projects and initiatives.

Deputy Minister Hoti stressed that coordination of actions and building a genuine cooperation is of high importance towards the fulfillment of needs of the Serbian community in Kosovo in the field of culture, youth and sports.

On the other hand, Simic thanked Deputy Minister Hoti for the reception and highly appreciated the readiness of MCYS to assist in initiatives and projects.

Both agreed to carry out visits to the municipalities of the northern part of the country in the future and to have meetings with the representatives of all communities living in that area, aiming to see concrete needs in the fields covered by MCYS.

Another topic of discussion between Deputy Minister Hoti and the president Sinic was the election process of the president of the country.
