The budget for cultural institutions has been increased

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Shala, has signed program policies in the field of culture, by which are created opportunities for further development of cultural institutions and the raise of their artistic level.

According to the policies program for the 2016, all institutions of culture that are under MCYS have received a significant budget increase for their activities.

MCYS considers that this increase in budget, highlights the need for more work and dedication in the efficient management of these institutions and a more comprehensive and qualitative promotion of culture in Kosovo.

MCYS in its political goals, has the objective of strengthening the role of culture in the society and is committed to help its cultural institutions, with financial support, modern legislation and infrastructure for the development of cultural activities.

This increase has been made based on last year's expenses.
