The stadium sports field in Deçan has been inaugurated

Decani has become with a new stadium sports field. It was inaugurated today and it is considered as one of the important areas created for athletes and sports people of Decani.

The inauguration of the sports field was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Muharrem Sahiti who is the sports adviser of Minister Shala, Director of the Department of Sports, Iber Alaj, mayor of Decani, Rasim Selmanaj, President of the Football Federation of Kosovo Fadil Vokrri and sports community in this municipality.

MCYS has invested approximately 200 thousand Euros in this project,specifically in the field drainage system and its coverage of artificial grass.

Iber Alaj, said these investments that MCYS is making, not only in Decan but throughout Kosovo based on priorities, are implemented in order to improve the sports infrastructure, within the budget capacity.

Meanwhile, the chairman of KFF, Fadil Vokrri said that the new sports field of the stadium will be a space for Decani football players to carry out their activities to further enhance their quality.

The mayor Selmanaj stressed that sports ground which has been inaugurated today will give the players a chance to have a place where they can carry out their activities but it will also be a nest for future generations to cultivate the sport of football in Decan.

The Stadium alongside the Sports Hall which is located nearby, are investments in the municipality of Decani in which MCYS has given its support by an amount of two million Euros.
