Memorandum signed between MCYS and the Athletics Federation

Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports continues signing memorandums with several sports federations in Kosovo.

Today, at the Cabinet of the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Shala, was signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between MCYS and the Athletics Federation of Kosovo.

Through this Memorandum of Cooperation, MCYS granted AFK a subsidy of 32,240.00 Euros, for the remainder of this year’s program, while in total, MCYS has helped this federation with 121,632 Euros.

Minister Kujtim Shala, commended AFK for the work and activities done so far. He also confirmed the support of MCYS for AFK and sports in general, pledging that MCYS is committed to help sports in Kosovo on its way to achieving further progress.

Minister Shala said that through these memorandums, it is aimed to improve policies in the field of sports.

As we have previously announced, through these memorandums of cooperation, MCYS is helping federations in their financial independence, as well as assisting them to function effectively.
