Minister Dumoshi inspected the investments MCYS has made in Prizren

Following the visit to Prizren, according to the agenda, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Vlora Dumoshi visited the location where the sports field will be built in Lubinje të Epërme of Prizren, accompanied by Minister Emilija Rexhepi and Mayor Mytaher Haskuka.

Minister Dumoshi said that together with a part of the MCYS staff, they went to the location to see the place where the ministry will invest in a sports infrastructure project in this village that has a position and its peculiarities, where mostly residents of the Bosnian community live.

"This village has around 3 thousand inhabitants and its position has its own specifics and the investment of the ministry here is important. We are currently here to see the place where we will invest in a sports field, we will close see the project and immediately place the marks here in the village of Lubinjë ", said the minister.

Meanwhile, Minister Emilija Rexhepi said that it is good to invest in this village that has many young people who like doing sports.

Afterwards, Ministers Dumoshi and Rexhepi, as well as the Mayor of Prizren Haskuka, stayed in the village of Mushnikovo, where the ministry will invest 50 thousand euros in two sports fields, specifically a basketball and futsal court, projects within the creation of new spaces sports activities in the Municipality of Prizren.

Minister Dumoshi said that after the plan made by the engineers of the ministry and the municipality, these projects will start. "Here we are in Mushnikovo to invest in two sports fields and the basic infrastructure is already here. Very soon we will start working on the basketball and futsal courts, in the stands, the floor as well as the fence”.

Afterwards, Minister Vlora Dumoshi continued her visit to inspect the works in the Olympic Pool and the City Stadium "Përparim Thaçi", on which occasion the Minister said that for this year 500 thousand euros are foreseen for each project for the continuation of works.

Minister Dumoshi assessed that the pool project is very important not only for the municipality but also for international competitions. Meanwhile, during the inspection in the stadium, the minister also met some of the representatives and football players of the football club "Liria".

Afterwards, the Minister inspected the works that are being carried out in the construction of the Zhur stadium, a project which is an investment of the MCYS.

At the end of today's visit, Minister Dumoshi in the MCYS office in Prizren, met with the heads of Dokufest, with whom she discussed their plans this year and the support and cooperation that the ministry has had with this important festival, already with international reputation.
