Memorandum of Understanding signed between MCYS, Manifesta and the City of Prishtina

On Tuesday the 19th of May 2020, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of Kosovo, represented by Minister Vlora Dumoshi and the director of Manifesta and Chair of Manifesta 14 Prishtina, Hedwig Fijen, signed the Memorandum of Understanding via a zoom call, guaranteeing the budget made available for the development of a permanent intercultural institution in Prishtina in 2022 on the occasion of Manifesta 14. The initiating partners of the City of Prishtina and Foundation Manifesta 14 Prishtina are delighted that the Ministry of Culture is committing themselves to the project of Manifesta 14 Prishtina and its legacy beyond the biennial. The City of Prishtina already fulfilled its obligations towards Manifesta 14 which means that the project, after a delay of three months due to the corona pandemic, can be started.

Manifesta 14 hugely looks forward to working together with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of Kosovo and the City of Prishtina.
