Minister Gashi appoints the artist Alban Muja to represent Kosovo at the Venice Biennale for 2019

Following the proposal of the Kosovo Pavilion Commissioner at the Venice Biennale, Arta Agani, also director of the National Gallery of Kosovo, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Gashi, has decided that artist Alban Muja presents Kosovo in the 58th edition, at the Venice Biennale Interna-tional Art Exhibition, to be held in 2019 from 11 May to 24 November.

On this occasion, Min-ister Gashi said that the presentation of Kosovo in this event through Alban Muja, is very important and Kosovo will have a successful presentation in this next edition of the year.

The Minister also said that he appreciates the participation of Alban Muja at various exhibitions and festivals abroad.

"The artist Alban Muja, who will present Kosovo at the Biennale, is a well-known name on the world art scene. Muja's work is widely exposed at various festivals, art fairs, group exhibi-tions and solo shows, "said Minister Gashi among others.
