Minister Gashi, Dresnik will be transformed in-to the second archaeological park in Kosovo

At the Archaeological Site in Dresnik, today we are marking the Days of European Cultural Heritage and the European Year of Cultural Heritage. On this occasion, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Gashi, visited this locality, who in his speech said he was pleased to be in this locali-ty.

"The European Heritage Day throughout Europe and the Republic of Kosovo has become an important cultural, educational, sensitizing and scholarly event not only for our institutions but also for our citizens", said Minister Gashi.

He also announced that in this day, in Kosovo, many activities have been conducted, including all institutions dealing with Cultural Herit-age.

"With numerous organizations, like this one today, we aim to raise awareness about the protection of our common European cultural heritage, inheriting it for future generations", said Minister Gashi.

"The particularity of this event is the fact that for the first time this event took place in the Dresnik locality as one of the most important settlements in ancient Dardania, in which intensive work is underway by our Institutions and professional workers of the field Cultural Heritage", emphasized Minister Gashi.

He said, among other things, that the importance of these findings is to make this locality a priority and to be transformed into a tourist resort in the framework of the development of tourism culture in our country.

"Allow me to reconfirm my dedication and the Ministry that I lead, in full institutional support for the field of Cultural Herit-age," concluded Minister Gashi.
