Minister Gashi: The stadium is merit of MCYS and Fadil Vokrri, invites citizens to the tomorrow’s match

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Gashi held a press conference at the Prishtina Stadium "Fadil Vokrri".

During this conference, Minister Gashi said that "I invite all sports fans and citizens tomorrow to be in the stadium and celebrate at this great sports event in this stadium that meets the criteria of UEFA". Call on Dardans, Plisat and other fans to celebrate and preserve this asset, because we have invested as a Kosovo Government and we have been extremely committed to meeting the requirements of UEFA. It's a test match, but it's very important for the sport in Kosovo that tomorrow we can get the green light to play other games in this stadium", said Minister Gashi.

Minister Gashi said that tomorrow is a historic and special moment and after a great dedication of all actors who have worked in this regard as well as a great work of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport to invest in one of the most beautiful stadiums of Kosovo.

"Tomorrow we will mark one of the most important events in Kosovo, this is an emotional and proud moment for all of us who have been involved in this process. This is an investment by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, a continuous effort to advance the sports infrastructure in the country, said Minister Gashi.

Gashi expressed his feelings and thanks for the football legend of Kosovo, the late Fadil Vokrri, and said that "if there is someone who should be thanked in Kosovo for this achievement is definitely the late Fadil Vokrri ".

Minister Gashi emphasized that the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports will continue to invest in the Sports sector. "The MCYS will also start investing in the 'Adem Jashari' stadium to make it a fourth category stadium. Minister Gashi announced that they are close to finalizing the feasibility study for the national stadium, which will be built in Drenas.
