Minister Gashi in Hungary, demands concretization of the agreement for the construction of the national stadium

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Gashi, is staying for an official visit to Budapest, Hungary, where he is holding numerous meetings with representatives of the Hungarian state.

Today, Minister Gashi met with the Secretary of State for Administration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Csaba Balogh, with whom he talked about bilateral relations between Kosovo and Hungary in the field of culture, youth and sport and for the possibilities of deepening cooperation between these two countries. One of the main topics of discussion was the implementation of concrete projects, such as the construction of the Kosovo National Stadium, where both agreed to look at Kosovo's financial support for this project, through the soft loan that Hungary can give.

Also Minister Gashi met with the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs Istvan Joo, where they discussed the concrete possibilities of financial support for the project concerning the construction of the National Stadium of Kosovo, through the soft loan that Hungary can offer to the Republic of Kosovo.

Csaba Balogh and Istvan Joo have reconfirmed the will of the Hungarian state to conclude other projects not only in the sports field but also in those of cultural and cultural heritage.

Minister Gashi and MCYS will remain committed to starting the procedures for the construction of the National Stadium in the first part of next year, as one of the most important capital projects in the field of sport.

Today, Minister Gashi will also visit the National Stadium "Groupama Arena" in Budapest, where he will be introduced to the experiences of the Hungarian state in constructing and maintaining national stadiums.
