Minister Gashi: OSCE, an important partner of MCYS

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Gashi, met with the OSCE chief in Kosovo, Jan Braathu, with whom he talked about the cooperation between MCYS and OSCE in areas related to culture, youth and cultural heritage.

Initially, Minister Kujtim Gashi thanked OSCE Head of Mission Jan Braathu for his visit and promised him co-operation. Minister Gashi emphasized that cooperation with the OSCE is very important, especially in issues related to the MCYS youth program, highlighting as very necessary the program for youth internship, as well as the joint commitment to continue with application of programs in the fight against extremism.

Minister Gashi also requested from the OSCE Mission in Kosovo to continue supporting MCYS in advancing legislation in the field of youth.

While the OSCE chief, Mrs. Braathu thanked Minister Gashi for the reception and said that the OSCE is in Kosovo to work with its institutions in order to find practical solutions to the issues of dialogue.

He further stated that the OSCE is committed to continuing close co-operation with MCYS, especially in issues related to youth, culture, cultural heritage and dialogue with the Serbian community.
