Austria supports MCYS in implementing its policies

Minister Kujtim Gashi met with the Ambassador of Austria to Kosovo, Gernot Pfandler, with whom he discussed the relations and cooperation that the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports has with the Austrian Embassy.

The Minister thanked Ambassador Pfandler for the visit and expressed his appreciation for Kosovo's relationship with an ally state such as Austria and thanked the Ambassador for all the support the Austrian state has given in support of Kosovo's statehood.

Minister Gashi said he is ready to deepen the cooperation with Austria in those projects that the Embassy foresees on both sides. This would also intensify joint engagement in the advancement of areas under the umbrella of MCYS, but would also open the opportunity for exchanging experiences and professionals of both countries.

Among other things, the Minister also briefed the ambassador about the plans and policies that the ministry intends to accomplish in the future, and in this regard the minister was hopeful about the support of the Embassy of Austria, especially in promoting diplomacy and cultural diversity.

Meanwhile, the Austrian Ambassador Pfendler thanked Minister Gashi for the reception and congratulated him on taking up the new post, wishing him success and fulfillment of goals.

The Austrian ambassador emphasized that the embassy will support the ministry in areas regarded of common interest, as well as in the presentation and participation of Kosovo in important international events.
