Rexhep Mazreku

Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport

He was born on 18 December 1960 in Malishevë, Malisheva municipality. He is married and has two children.
He graduated from the University of Prishtina - Faculty of Education in Prizren: Department of English Language and Literature.
From 1982 to 1994 worked as an English Language Teacher at SHFMU "18 Nëntori" and "Rilindja" in Malisheva.
From 1995 to 2008 held the position of director for SHFMU "Rilindja" and "Ibrahim Mazreku" in Malisheva.
From 2001 to 2007 was a member of the Municipal Assembly in Malisheva from the ranks of PDK.
From November 2008 - 2009 - Director of the DCYS in the Municipality of Malisheva 2010 - 2013 - Deputy Mayor of Malisheva.
2010 - 2013 - Deputy Mayor of Malisheva
2014 - 2017 Deputy Mayor of Malisheva from the ranks of SP- NISMA for Kosovo.
Chairman of KF ,,Llapusha" for two years in the Regional League of Prizren.
Participated in numerous sports competitions in football, national and international competitions with various age groups U-12, U-15, U-17.
Member of the Table Tennis club ''Malisheva''.

Has attended a lot of training and certification programs in the field of management, education, and institutional governance held by many competent Institutions.

During his career so far through his activity has contributed to the development of democratic processes, engaging in political and cultural organizations of the time, especially in the field of sports. Coming from a patriotic family, he has inherited a very valuable personal and family contribution to the war of the Kosovo Liberation Army. After the war, he continued to support the democratic organization of the society in the political, educational, cultural and youth field and offered support to all sports initiatives in the municipality of Malisheva and beyond.

He speaks English and Croatian.
