Minister Shala congratulates the membership of Kosovo Athletic Federation in IAAF

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS), Kujtim Shala, congratulates the heads of Kosovo Athletic Federation (KAF) and all athletes for the acceptation of this federation in the International Association of Athletic Federation (IAAF).

Furthermore, Minister Shala thanks all those who enabled the achievement of this goal while congratulating athletes for this success. He wishes progress and even greater successes to athletes in competitions and events in which they shall take place.

Internationalisation of athletics comprises an incredible and very important news, because, the sport of athletics has a tradition in our country. And on the other hand, doors are opened to this federation to take place in international competitions, representing Kosovo among other countries of the world.

Membership of KAF in IAAF, despite of being a great success towards the full process of internationalisation of Kosovar sport is also an encouragement to sports institutions for greater commitment on the improvement of infrastructure and for as competitive representation as possible.
