Shala met Luxemburg Charge d’Affaires, Weber

Deputy Prime Minister Kujtim Shala, at the same time Minister for Culture, Youth and Sport, received in today’s meeting Luxemburg Charge d’Affaires in Kosova, Pierre Weber, with whom he discussed the possibility of having a friendly football match between Kosova and Luxemburg. They both spoke also about artist exchanges and cooperation in cultural projects, with the aim of greater acquaintance between both countries.

The Minister, Shala, thanked Luxemburg Charge d’Affaires, Weber, for the support so far given to Kosova by his country and its journey towards EU. He revealed the idea of organizing a friendly football match between Kosova national team and Luxemburg.

The Minister informed Weber about the process of internationalizing Kosova sport and about increasing the obligations and regarding this he asked for assistance from the international partner in order to alleviate the progress of our country’s sport in the infrastructure and promotion of sport but also in quality and competitiveness.

Meanwhile, Luxemburg Charge d’Affaires in Kosova, Weber, thanked the Minister for the reception and stated that his country is willing to help Kosova in many directions, in particular in the aspect of promotion and cultural representation by sending Kosovan artists to perform in EU countries, especially in the country he comes from and this way making it possible to get to know Kosova culture closely.

Weber, stated further, that Luxemburg has continuously supported Kosova in its journey towards EU especially in the fields covered by the MCYS.
