Deputy Prime-minister Shala welcomed Slovenian Ambassador Majhen

Deputy Prime-minister Kujtim Shala, at the same time, Minister of Culture Youth and Sports, welcomed today in a meeting Ambassador of Slovenia, Miljan Majhen, with who he discussed about the developments in the fields covered by MCYS, as well as, continuing the cooperation between the two countries.

Deputy Prime-minister Shala thanked the Ambassador and, through him the Slovenian state and people for the continuous assistance they provided for Kosovo in every segment. Furthermore, Shala re-emphasised the fact that he remains committed to work in the direction that this cooperation continue in the future, too, and required from Ambassador Majhen that Slovenia help Kosovo in its development and integration into EU as well as in exchanging cultural experiences between the two countries.

On his turn, Slovenian Ambassador, Majhen congratulated Deputy Prime-minister Shala for his new assignment. He wished to the Minister progress and achievement in his work in future. Mr. Majhen stated that Slovenia shall continue to support Kosovo in the future, too. He highlighted that the support of the Embassy on concrete projects shall continue, Kosovo and Slovenia among others shall also have partnership in the fields of culture, youth and sports.
