Deputy Prime-minister Shala welcomed EU representative in Kosovo, Samuel Zbogar

Deputy Prime-minister Kujtim Shala, meanwhile, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, welcomed today in an introductory meeting, the European Union Special Representative, Mr. Samuel Zbogar. At the meeting it was discussed for the cooperation between Kosovo and EU, particularly in the field of culture, sports and youth.

Mr. Shala thanked the EU Representative in Kosovo and through him the EU for its continuous support on building a democratic life in Kosovo, especially, in the fields covered by MCYS.

The Deputy Prime-minister informed the EU Representative for steps undertaken at the beginning of the assignment, starting procedures on the improvement of legal infrastructure, as well as on concrete objectives aimed to be achieved by MCYS.

Furthermore, Deputy Prime-minister Shala expressed his readiness to broaden the cooperation between Kosovo and EU, particularly, on concrete projects in culture, sports and youth policies.

In his turn, Mr. Zbogar congratulated Deputy Prime-minister Shala for his new assignment. He wished progress and accomplishment of plans. Mr. Zbogar emphasised that European Union shall continue to support Kosovo also in future, thus, reconfirming that EU support on concrete projects shall continue further.
