Deputy Prime-minister Shala visited Lipjan, Shtime, Suhareka and Malisheva

Deputy prime-minister Kujtim Shala, at the same time, Minister of Culture Youth and Sports, visited Lipjan, Shtime, Suhareka and Malisheva and met mayors Imri Ahmeti, Naim Ismajli, Sali Asllanaj and Ragip Begaj, with who he discussed on projects that are expected to be developed and finalised during this year in these municipalities.

Deputy Minister Shala, in the meeting in Lipjan, informed Mayor Ahmeti on the possibilities of MCYS for subventions and investments in this municipality, regarding projects in fields of culture, youth and sports.

Mayor of Lipjan Imri Ahmeti thanked Deputy prime-minister Shala for the visit and congratulated him for the assignment. He said that he expects to have a productive cooperation and fulfilment of projects to meet the foreseen objectives of the municipality.

At the visits paid to the municipality of Shtime, Mr. Shala informed Mayor Naim Ismajli on the priorities and investments that shall take place during this year. He said that this year it is aimed to finalise works in the sports palestra of the city, Deputy prime minister also highlighted that there shall be cooperation and that he shall support cultural projects and activities of this municipality. Deputy prime-minister Shala also stated that he shall focus more towards supporting smaller municipalities on projects covered by MCYS.

Mayor of Shtime, Mr. Ismajli congratulated the Minister and informed him on cultural activities and projects which the municipality organises and in this regard thanked the Minister for the provided support and cooperation.

Within the scope of todays’ visits, Minister Shala stayed also in Suhareka and Malisheva, where he met mayors, respectively, Sali Asllanaj and Ragip Begaj. Mr. Shala discussed with them for the support of projects and investments on infrastructure in these municipalities.

Minister Shala informed mayors for the doubling of budget in some sports infrastructure projects and after the review of budget the Minster said that his support shall increase much further.

Mr. Shala also informed mayors that today he visited them for the changes on legal infrastructure, within the scope of strategies and fields covered by MCYS.

In their turn, mayors of Suhareka and Malisheva municipalities, stated that they expect the support on concrete projects and productive cooperation by MCYS.
