Clarification for the public following the visit of minister Shala in Prishtina Stadium

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, wishes to clarify before the public, that the news about allocation of the amount of 500 thousand Euros for Prishtina FC is not true.

Pursuant to the Law on Budget, as adopted by the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports shall invest 500 thousand Euros on the infrastructure of Prishtina City Stadium, which is property of Prishtina Municipality, meaning that it is a public property.

For this matter, Minister Shala has met the Mayor of Prishtina Municipality, Mr. Shpend Ahmeti, and they agreed that the Ministry and the Municipality, based on a memorandum which will be signed, to invest in the city Stadium.

Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports hereby invites media to inform accurately and correctly and not to distort facts as in this case.

Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports is going to work with all partners in order to improve the poor condition in sports infrastructure in the whole territory of our country.
