Minister Shala hosted the American ambassador, Jacobson

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Shala hosted today in an introductory meeting the Ambassador of United States of America in Prishtina, Tracey Jacobson, with whom he discussed about the latest developments in the field of cultural heritage, sports and youth in Kosovo.

Minister Shala thanked the ambassador and through her also the American government and people for the continuous support they gave in building a democratic life in Kosovo. Likewise, minister Shala stated again the fact that he remains dedicated to work in order to have more achievements in the future. Minister Shala thanked the ambassador Jacobson for the support which her state has given in every segment in Kosovo, in particular for the support of culture, sports and cultural heritage. He mentioned the support given by American Embassy in concrete projects of cultural heritage, in restoration of cultural heritage buildings.

Minister expressed the readiness for enhancement of cooperation between MCYS and American Embassy and also with other partners who are giving a precious contribution in this regard. In addition to heritage, minister Shala highly appreciated the support that American Embassy has given to sport in Kosovo.

On her part, ambassador Jacobson congratulated minister Shala for the new job. She wished the minister progress and achievement of goals in the work he is going to undertake in the future. Jacobson expressed that United States of America will continue to provide their support to Kosovo in the future too. She reconfirmed that the support from embassy in concrete projects will continue to be provided in the future too.
