The support for youth, sports and culture of Ferizaj will increase

The support for youth, artistic community and athletes of Ferizaj will be twice as much. So, said today Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Memli Krasniqi, during a meeting with the major of Ferizaj, Agim Aliu and his collaborators. Minister said he was quite happy that one of the main priorities of the municipality itself is youth, culture and sport and there are already many projects planned to be realized in the future by collaboration with MCYS and other institutions as well. Minister Krasniqi congratulated the major Aliu for the work carried out and for his concrete plans. He appreciated the fact that in Ferizaj youth already has more space on decision making while culture and sports are the priorities. Minister Krasniqi said that in the last two years MCYS has invested in Ferizaj, such as the renovation of palestra and the construction of a subsidiary modern football stadium, a donation received by European Commission, the support for projects such as the Festival “Kosovarja këndon”, Ensemble ‘Kastriotët’, the Festival of Theatres in Ferizaj, the support for theatre ‘Adriana Abdullahu’ and other projects as well. In the following next year we will obviously add further support in cultural heritage, culture, youth and sport, said minister Krasniqi.

On the other hand, the major of Ferizaj, Agim Aliu thanked minister Krasniqi for the support provided to Ferizaj and also for sport, culture and youth of our country in general. He said that youth, culture and sport are already their priority and he mentioned some of the projects they are considering to realize in the future.  Aliu mentioned projects that are related with the functioning of theater life of the municipality and the improvement of cultural and sports infrastructure. Minister Krasniqi and the major Aliu agreed on having continuous contacts regarding concrete projects and common activities.
