President Jahjaga, Prime Minister Thaçi and Minister Krasniqi are closely following the presentation of Majlinda Kelmendi at the Olympics

The judoka from Kosovo, Majlinda Kelmendi, who is participating in the Olympic Games “London 2012” within the frame of the Olympic team of Albania, will not be alone on Sunday. The President of the Republic of Kosovo Madame Atifete Jahjaga, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Mr. Hashim Thaçi and Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Mr. Memli Krasniqi will be present on Sunday at Excel Arena in London to closely attend  the confrontations of the judoka from Peja. In the first round Majlinda will confront with Sundberg Jaana from Finland.

Meanwhile, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Mr. Memli Krasniqi has met today in London with the Olympic team of Albania, in an official reception organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Albania and the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo, in the residency of the Embassy of Albania in London. In the meeting was also present the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madame Atifete Jahjaga,, Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania Mr. Sali Berisha, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports of Albania Mr. Aldo Bumçi, British Ambassador in Kosovo, Ian Cliff, Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in Great Britain, Mr. Muhamet Hamiti, the charge-d’affaires in the Embassy of Albania in London, Mr. Mal Berisha and other officials. Minister Krasniqi wished success to all members of the Olympic team of Albania especially Majlinda Kelmendi, while reaffirming once again the full support provided to her by the State Institutions of Kosovo.

On the other hand, the President Jahjaga, while wishing success to participants at the Olympics, stated that we are proud with our distinguished athletes, their will and commitment in order to achieve best results in the competitions in the frame of Summer Olympic Games of London.
