Minister Gashi congratulates KF Drita from Gjilan for winning the championship title

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Gashi, has congratulated the football club "Drita" of Gjilan for winning the championship title in the Kosovo Superlige in football for the season 2017/18.

"I would like to congratulate the players, management and technical staff of the club of Drita for the success achieved in the 2017/18 season of the football elite in Kosovo, a success that was crowned with the title of the championship. Also, I congratulate the fans of KF Drita for this result, because they deserve the unreserved support they have offered for their beloved club. I also thank and congratulate the other supporters who have helped the club in any form", said Minister Gashi.

The Minister said that this year's season has been rated as one of the best as for the organization and the quality offered and for this he feels satisfied because Kosovo has quality players and has the affinity for the most popular sport in the world, football.

"MCYS and I as a minister remain committed to doing the utmost to improve and complement the sports infrastructure, whether legal or physical, as a prerequisite to further enhance the quality of football in particular and in the sport of Kosovo in general", said Gashi.

Now after the internationalization of Kosovo's sport, which is one of the most powerful facts of our citizenship, Minister Gashi considers that for MCYS as a priority is the advancement of the field of sport to another level, that of finding new talented youngsters and excellent international representation.
