Minister Gashi visits YMCA in the United States

Upon the invitation of the Youth Organization YMCA, the branch in America, the Minister of Culture Youth and Sports, Kujtim Gashi, has traveled to the United States of America.

In the framework of the visit, the minister will stay in the two headquarters of this organization in New York to look closely at the organization's experiences and how they carry out activities in the US.

During his visit, Minister Gashi will meet with the top executives of YMCA America, among others, with Adriana Statovic, who is the head of international programs, which simultaneously follows the YMCA program in the Republic of Kosovo as well.

Minister Gashi through this visit intends to receive support from YMCA for its extension in the Republic of Kosovo, where Kosovo youth will be given the opportunity to be part of this powerful network around the world.

"It is our commitment, through the signed agreements that we will conduct on this visit, to extend the scope of this very strong youth organization in at least some of the cities of Kosovo: in Gjakova, Prizren, Istog, Rahovec and some other municipalities", said Minister Gashi.

"We will be committed to extend this organization to the entire territory of Kosovo, which will give the opportunity to thousands of young people to be part of the activities that this organization conducts", said inter alia the Minister.

Also, Minister Gashi will visit two youth camps, which carry out activities with thousands of young people from all over the world and see how they are managed.

YMCA is the world's largest youth organization, founded in 1844. This powerful youth organization has spread across 119 countries around the world. The YMCA serves 58 million young people annually worldwide.
