Minister Gashi: We are working with dedication for the Prishtina Stadium to be ready in June

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Gashi, accompanied by the President of the Football Federation of Kosovo, Fadil Vokrri, and UEFA officials, visited the Pristina Stadium to look closely at the progress of works being carried out in this stadium.

The works being held at the Pristina Stadium are in full compliance with the standards set by UEFA and FIFA and will end in early June.

Minister Gashi declared that he is in the stadium to look closely at the progress of the works so far and to reaffirm strongly his dedication as a minister that by June of this year the Prishtina Stadium will be in function to be able to carry out sports activities.

"Since taking the responsibility to run the MCYS, we have been committed to improving the legal infrastructure in the sports field to maximally engage in the improvement of physical infrastructure in all sports stadiums, so that they are in full compliance with the criteria and standards required by the international sports authorities "said Minister Gashi.

Fadil Vokrri, chairman of FFK, said he feels extremely satisfied that he has received full support of Minister Gashi not only in supporting the federation he leads but also in developing progressive policies for improving and advancing all sports activities in our country.

The Pristina Stadium is expected to be inaugurated at the beginning of June, whereby a testing sporting match will be held, respectively a friendly match.
