200 young people have been certified for entrepreneurship

Every year, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, within the framework of youth education, supports activities for their training. Today, around 200 young people from different cities of Kosovo have been certified in the field of entrepreneurship, a project supported by MCYS, implemented by the Business Development Group.

The training aimed at educating young people for entrepreneurship so that they are informed and prepared to set up new businesses, and also have the ability to manage them.

Minister Kujtim Gashi congratulated young people for the training and assessed that this certification marks an important step in the professional education of young people and mentioned that MCYS in cooperation with its partners has supported the training of these young people.

"The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports has progressively increased the support for youth, especially in the last two years, and support will continue to grow in the future. We will also have other initiatives to create the Youth Fund from the Ministry's budget, through which we will support the innovative ideas and projects of many young people and youth organizations", said Minister Gashi.

The Minister also mentioned investment and support of youth through grants allocated to youth, youth centers in different cities of Kosovo, highlighting investment in youth infrastructure for 2018, where will be built and finalized five Youth Centers, in the cities of Peja, Ferizaj, Klina, Vushtrri and Shtime.

Also, Gashi said that the ministry is working continuously to draft normative and strategic acts in line with EU standards for the youth field so that this focus group of our society is in step with the young people of Europe.

Young people highly appreciated this certification because they consider it a thorough preparation for the future.
