Rahovec, in 2018, will have a sports hall

The Sports Hall will serve the citizens of Rahovec in 2018. This is what the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Gashi said during the inspection of the works that have been carried out in this sports capital project in Rahovec, during the today’s visit in this municipality.

Minister Gashi during the inspection at the sports hall in Rahovec was accompanied by the Mayor of Rahovec, Idriz Vehapi, whom the minister expressed support through investments that will be made in this municipality in the field of sports.

"I visited the sports hall, a facility that started almost nine years ago, for which I can freely say that in recent years there has been neglected in terms of works carried out. We have accelerated the procedure and we are evaluating this project for its final stage and believe that in 2018 this hall will serve the citizens of the municipality of Rahovec and all those sportspeople who will use this sport facility " said the minister.

The Minister has offered support to the mayor of Rahovec through investments that will be made jointly and also investments that are going to be made at the city stadium, as well as in the village of Ratkoc and Krusha e Madhe.

Minister Gashi also stayed in the Rahovec town hall. Gashi, together with Mayor Vehapi, during their meeting, agreed to support areas related to the culture, heritage and youth through concrete projects that the Municipality of Rahovec has.

Meanwhile, the mayor of Rahovec, Idriz Vehapi said that with the Minister Gashi they discussed about the investments that will be made in the field of sports and culture. He also said that he briefed the minister about the state of sports facilities of the Rahovec Municipality, hoping to finalize them as soon as possible so they can serve the citizens.

The sports hall in the municipality of Rahovec started construction in 2008 and is a project of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. Two phases of this capital project have been completed, where are invested about one million and 970 thousand Euros. As for the last phase, which is a procedure, about 770 thousand Euros have been foreseen.
