Peja will have the National Hall of Judo

In the wake of capital investments in the field of sport, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, has signed today a memorandum of cooperation with the Municipality of Peja, with the aim of "Building the National Judo Hall in Peja" a project in which will be invested 1 million and 500 thousand euro.

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Shala said that this news is extremely important for the judo and Kosovo, for the fact that this sport, which has already gained extraordinary success internationally, and which Kosovo is proud of, is now having its own modern facility to carry out all sports activities.

Mayor of Peja, Gazmend Muhaxheri, thanked Minister Shala for the support he has given to this extremely important project for Kosovo, and said that this is good news for all citizens of Peja, because this successful sport will now have its own National Hall.

Also today between MCYS and the Municipality of Peja, were signed several memoranda for fixing up some tennis courts and the sports hall for community, the financial value of which is 420 thousand euro.
