The collective contract for workers in the cultural sector is expected to be signed

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Shala, today met with Rahman Jashari, president of the Union of Education, Science and Culture, USESC.

Minister Shala and President Rrahmani discussed the general conditions and situation of employees in Kosovo, especially those in the field of culture. Also, between Shala and President Jashari was emphasized the need to intensify cooperation between MCYS and USESC in view of improving conditions for this category of workers.

Minister Shala said that he will work closely with USESC in favor of protecting the interests of workers in the culture sector, while the president of USESC Rrahman Jasharaj thanked Minister Shala for the support and said that close cooperation with MCYS in order to help in improving conditions for workers in the culture sector in Kosovo, is very useful and beneficial to this category.

Also at the meeting was said that before long it is expected to be signed the collective agreement for the sector of culture, between MCYS and USESC, which regulates the issue of employees in the culture sector.
