Minister Shala congratulates Distria Krasniqi for the title of European champion in judo

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Shala has congratulated the judoka Distria Krasniqi, upon coronation as champion in European U23 Judo Championship, which is being held in Tel Aviv.

Minister Shala has congratulated the judoka Krasniqi and her team for the success achieved. This result already presents evidence that we have continuously marked victories and success in the sport of judo and the quality that we possess as a country in this sport. The result of our judoka is welcome, not only for her team and the sport of judo, but it also satisfies and makes us all proud, said Shala.

Krasniqi’s achievement was regarded by the minister as an encouragement to work as a government even more in support of athletes for better appearances in the international sports arena and also produce good results.

Minister Shala said that MCYS is working to create facilities for the functioning of sports federations through the completion of the legal infrastructure, the categorization of sports, supporting young talents and sports promotion.
