Minister Shala: The modern hall in Rahovec will soon be operational

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Shala, together with the Minister of Finance Avdullah Hoti and the Deputy Minister of Local Government, Bajram Gecaj, visited the municipality of Rahovec, where they were welcomed by Mayor Idriz Vehapi.

At this meeting, it was discussed about projects and investments of MCYS, especially those related to development and sports infrastructure, in which MCYS is realizing numerous investments throughout Kosovo.

Minister Shala, together with the delegation, visited the Sports Hall of the city, a capital investment of MCYS.

On this occasion, the mayor of Rahovec, Idriz Vehapi, thanked Minister Shala for the constant support he has given to Rahovec. He further said that the Sports Hall in the city, built according to advanced international standards, is in the benefit of sport in the municipality, and it is expected to be in service of those who will carry out sports activities.

Minister Shala said that this is one of the largest investments related to collective sports in Kosovo, in which project, the total investment of the Government of Kosovo will reach about 2 million and 700 thousand Euros.

He further said that the modern hall, which is in the final stage, will soon be operational, and will serve to further advance the sport in this city and in Kosovo, since it meets the international criteria for sports activities.

Also, Minister Shala said that MCYS is working to invest in the stadium of the city of Rahovec and in other several important projects related to sports in this municipality.
