Kosovo and Hungary - cooperation in the field of sport

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Shala, welcomed today a delegation from Hungary, in composition of Balint Tombor and Adam Szucs, political advisors at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Laszlo Markusz, Ambassador of Hungary in Kosovo and Tamas Gerelu, trade attache.

In the meeting between the Minister Shala and the Hungarian delegation, were discussed a range of issues of mutual interest, with a particular emphasis on concrete cooperation between Kosovo institutions and those of Hungary in the field of sports, in which was said that Kosovo can benefit from the Hungarian experiences in sports.

Hungarian delegation said that they are willing to start concrete cooperation with Kosovo sports institutions and help football in Kosovo, by supporting the players, coaches and referees of Kosovo.

Also, between the Minister Shala and the Hungarian delegation was discussed about capital investments that Kosovo is implementing to improve sports infrastructure in the country.

The delegation of Hungary, in turn, expressed the interest of the Government of Hungary on this matter, and for this reason, Minister Kujtim Shala, was invited in early October to visit Hungary and examine concrete possibilities for further cooperation in this regard.
