New investments in Suhareka

In the wake of capital investments in sport, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, has signed today a memorandum of cooperation with the municipality of Suhareka, whose purpose is financial support for the "Renovation of the football stadium in Suhareka."

Through this memorandum, MCYS invests funds of 277 thousand Euros for 2016 and 2017, while the municipality of Suhareka undertakes to invest funds in the amount of 173 thousand Euros in the period 2016-2017.

On this occasion, Minister Shala said that capital investments are being made in close cooperation with the municipalities and at this crucial stage for the sport of Kosovo, they are necessary and have a direct impact on improving the quality of sports in Kosovo, especially now when we are part of international football.

Whereas Mayor of Suhareka, Sali Asllanaj, thanked Minister Shala for the close cooperation, and said that this capital investment in Suhareka is extremely important for football in Suhareka, because it creates more favorable conditions for athletes and competitions with better conditions.
