Minister Shala: Kosovo's footballers competing in the Champions League is a historic success

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Shala, met today with leaders of Women's Football Club "Hajvalia" and the players of the club, congratulating them for the successes achieved in Kosovo competitions.

Minister Shala also wished success to this club in qualifying matches for the Champions League, considering the participation of women in Kosovo in these competitions as the historical success of women's football and our sport.

Shala also said that MCYS is investing in sports grounds in Kosovo, with a concentration in Pristina Stadium and the "Adem Jashari" in Mitrovica, since these two stadiums are close to meeting the standards required by UEFA and FIFA.

He further said that MCYS will support "Hajvali" in qualifying races that will happen this year.

On the other side, the leaders of FC "Hajvalia" thanked Minister Shala for continued support provided for the sport of Kosovo, and said that this participation, the Kosovo women's football is being strengthened and marks a significant advancement which is internationally important.
