Bislim Muçaj, honored as a laureate with the prize "Bekim Fehmiu"

Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, today in a solemn ceremony has awarded the Prize on Life's Work "Bekim Fehmiu" and annual prize in the field of cinematography. The actor Bislim Muçaj has been honored as a laureate with the prize "Bekim Fehmiu", while the annual award on behalf of the laureate, to the producer Eshref Durmishi, was received by the actor, Besnik Krapi.

The jury which was composed of the actress Igballe Qena, the actor Xhevat Qorraj, the director Isa Qosaj, the cameraman Menduh Nushi and the playwright Jahi Jahiu, have estimated that the introduction of Kosovo into the arena of world cinema has been historic and successful. Bislim Muçaj has made his contribution to this success with his presence in numerous projects and magical screens, devoting a lifetime to the scene, but not leaving aside the contribution of the producer of the film "Shok", Eshref Durmishi.

Prizes were accompanied by a certificate signed by the minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Shala, with the gold statuette respectively silver and a reward in the amount of 5 thousand Euros for the prize "Bekim Fehmiu" and the financial award of 2,500 Euros for the annual award.

The actor Bislim Muçaj expressed his satisfaction and pride to receive the award, named after the great actor of world cinematography, Bekim Fehmiu.

"I would like to thank the minister of culture, Kujtim Shala for the respect and recognition given to artists. I am very proud and very excited that this award bears the name of the holder of the world cinematography Bekim Fehmiu " said the actor Muçaj.
